Red Fox | Speedwell

As a compact and upright perennial, Veronica spicata ‘Red Fox’ (Spike Speedwell) boasts slender spikes of fuchsia-pink star-shaped flowers in mid to late summer. These vibrant blooms attract butterflies and last for over five weeks. The lance-shaped, deep green leaves form a bushy mound, perfect for the front of the border or in containers. This versatile plant thrives in full sun with consistent moisture and good soil drainage, making it a great choice for borders, rock gardens, and coastal gardens. It is also resistant to rabbit and deer and requires very little maintenance. To promote additional blooms, remove spent flowers and shear back the foliage after flowering.
