This book is about a boy born in Hong Kong, who really liked to complain. He complained that after his birth parents gave birth to his brother and then gave him away, they then did the exact same thing just 3 years later with him. All her life, his birth mother was haunted by a spirit from a previous life. She felt cold for decades, wearing several jackets on top of each other even in the 30+ degree centigrade Hong Kong heat. His birth father was always broke, but behaved and spoke like a well esteemed doctor from middle class. When his adoptee parents got rid of him after just one year, he complained that he was passed through 13 families like a used menstrual pad. It was always his fault. Luckily, he ended up at an Orphanage at age 15 where he stopped complaining for a few years.By his account, he complained that he had the smallest head of any male in the history of Hong Kong. This made him look perpetually younger than he really was. It hurt his chances of finding work. When he was 22, he looked 14. When he was 31, he looked 18. When he was 48, he looked like he was 26. Mind you, this was not a result of his facial features per se, it was entirely due to the incredibly small head he had; commensurate to that of a 15-year-old. As he aged, collagen left his face, his eyebrows began to droop, and his cheeks began to sag and crease; however, this made him look even younger. Uglier, yes, but even younger still. He complained that people never respected him due to his ridiculous clown-like face. You couldn't say he was ugly, because then all the ugly people would come out and say he was cute. You couldn't say he was handsome, for he looked like a child all his life. You couldn't say he was average either, because he really stood out from the crowd, albeit negatively. He complained that no one would hire him because he looked like an immature boy. Any human he met, only needed 6 seconds to decide that they hated him. He complained that his English hurt his chances at success. Everything about his life was CONTRAIRIAN.Eventually, this boy found success.--------------------------This book was written using dark humor to keep things lightThe book criticizes the truthRegardless of your age or maturity, you will learn something from reading this book Read more
